Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, is a vibrant and energetic city in southern Vietnam with plenty of attractions to explore. The ideal length of time to spend in Ho Chi Minh City depends on your interests and travel style. If you want to see the city's main attractions like the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Reunification Palace, then two or three days should be enough. You can also explore the bustling markets and enjoy the local cuisine during your stay. However, if you plan to venture outside the city and visit the nearby Mekong Delta or Cu Chi Tunnels, then you may want to add a few more days to your itinerary. Overall, I would recommend spending at least three to four days in Ho Chi Minh City to get a taste of the city's culture, history, and cuisine.

Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, is a vibrant city located in southern Vietnam. The best time to visit the city is during the dry season, from December to April. During this time, the weather is warm and sunny, with very little rainfall. This makes it an ideal time to explore the city's many attractions, such as the War Remnants Museum, Cu Chi Tunnels, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, and Ben Thanh Market. However, it is important to note that this is also peak tourist season, so expect large crowds and higher prices for accommodation and transportation. If you prefer a quieter and more budget-friendly trip, consider visiting during the rainy season, from May to November. Although it can be humid and wet, the rain showers are usually short-lived and the city's attractions are less crowded. Ultimately, the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City depends on your personal preferences and priorities.
