While it is possible to visit both the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta in one day, it would be a very rushed and tiring experience. The Cu Chi Tunnels are located about 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City, and it takes about 2 hours to get there. The site itself is quite large and has a lot to see, with tours usually lasting around 2-3 hours. After visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels, it would take another 2-3 hours to get to the Mekong Delta, which is located about 130 km from Ho Chi Minh City. The Mekong Delta is a vast area with many different towns and attractions, so it is not possible to see everything in just a few hours. In short, while it is technically possible to visit both sites in one day, it would be a rushed and exhausting experience, and you would not be able to fully appreciate everything that both places have to offer. It would be better to split the two destinations into separate days to fully enjoy each experience.
